#..I have no idea what number this one is
I absolutely have great affection for Pandora Radio. If you are one of the few who haven’t discovered it yet, it’s pretty much your own radio station perfectly mixed for your tastes. Pandora will create a playlist of songs that are similar to the band or artist you choose. For instance, if you create a station called “Bland, Cheesy Christian Music” then you will hear 98% of all Christian music made since 1987. If you create one called “Christians Who Make Good Music” then you will get a smaller, yet more fulfilling selection of David Crowder, Shaun Groves, Bethany Dillon, Jennifer Knapp and a little Mark Schultz thrown in there.
Ok, it doesn’t work that way. But all you have to do is type in an artist, band, or song name, and Pandora will create a playlist for you. It’s like your own personal radio station. You can also tell it that you like or dislike a song, and it will tailor the playlist according to your preferences.
If you look at our Pandora page, it doesn’t take long to tell whose stations are whose. For example, Mariah Carey and “Part of Your World” definitely belong to me, while “Demon Hunter” is certainly Brian’s. I highly recommend the “Michelle Branch” station if you are a fan of girl music. I also highly recommend Brian’s stations if you are into odd music that no one has heard of.
Go to Pandora, create a radio station called “Goo Goo Dolls” and remember when music was good. I’m rocking it right now and wishing that era would come back. You will also run into Matchbox 20, Third Eye Blind, and a bit of Collective Soul.
Create one called “Jars of Clay” and remember when they turned your world upside-down with “Flood”
What Pandora stations have you created?
Come on, share with us. Don’t be shy. I won’t write a scathing post about your comment. (Just be sure to avoid word verifications)
